Explore the Mooloolaba Rock Pools

Just a short stroll from your Seamark on First accommodation, you can discover why the Mooloolaba rock pools are a firm family favourite. The pools are home to a wide array of crabs, fish, seashells and other rock dwellers, and will keep the family entertained for hours.

Enjoy a day at the iconic Mooloolaba Beach

Postcard perfect Mooloolaba is a popular destination for visitors and locals alike, and it is easy to see why. Despite its popularity, you can usually secure plenty of space to settle back and bask in the sun with a good book in comfort.

Immerse Yourself in Nature at the Buderim Waterfall

In the heat of the day, the glorious Buderim Forest Waterfall offers a serene and secluded oasis. A relaxed wander through lush canopies, ferns, rock pools and abundant bird life leads you to the spectacular falls, as well as a refreshing swimming hole. Buderim Forest Park is just a 15 minute drive from your Seamark on First accommodation.

Go Troppo at The Big Pineapple

Nothing says “I’ve been on a tropical holiday” more than a family photo with a giant pineapple! This heritage-listed Sunshine Coast identity has been the subject of happy snaps for decades. If you are feeling energetic, you can climb the fruit’s interior while learning about pineapple growing from farm to factory. At the end of your climb, you will be rewarded with fabulous views from the observation deck. The café is renowned for delicious sundaes if you work up a hunger while you are there, and the weekends see the destination transformed into a thriving marketplace. The Big Pineapple is located in Nambour - a 20 minute drive from your Mooloolaba accommodation.

There is simply no better way to take in the spectacle of the magnificent Glass House Mountains than from a picnic blanket at Mary Cairncross Reserve. Mary Cairncross Reserve is just outside of Maleny - approximately 40 minute drive from Mooloolaba.

Spot a Koala at Noosa National Park

If you look closely, it is most likely that you will spot a snoozing koala during a visit to this famous Sunshine Coast National Park. A long paved path meanders along the breathtaking coastline and sheltered bays, and the abundance of eucalypts means plenty of koalas call the park home. You may also spot echidnas, lizards, birds and a range of other bushland creatures.
